WALL-E (2008,  G)
WALL-E 5.0 Stars
Wall*E's here!
Update: i watched it Friday morning and now... Saturday night i'm ready to do a real review.
The movie was EXCELLENT. I have no real complaints about this movie. I think i was expecting something different from the plot. However that doesn't mean i was disapointed by what i got. I thought the storyline was really simple... but actually very smart in the execution. There are alot of details to the movie and i think the team here did a really clever job at revealing all of that information (without the benefit of too much dialogue) and still letting the movie be fun, funny and not drag it down.
The best thing about this and many other pixar movies. The animation is top notch. The VERY FIRST SCENE is Mindblowing and i'm not exagerating. I know you naturally have to expect the very best animation from Pixar, but i'm always shocked every year.
Unless youre one of those "I need to know everything about the story RIGHT NOW!" type people, i think everybody would enjoy this movie. it has so much to offer.

You Don't Mess with the Zohan 4.5 Stars
If you love Adam Sandler movies... even the crappy ones like Mr. Deeds or Larry and Chuck... than your going to LOVE THIS.
in fact, i would find it hard not to like this movie. or at least have a number of LaughOutLoud moments.
it actually had a pretty interesting story with interesting characters. And the action was crazy stupid but entertaining to a Action Lover like me. Just overall Great Fun!! Good Laughs!! A+ Adam Sandler comedy.
I cant wait to add this to my dvd collection.

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (2008,  PG-13)
Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull 5.0 Stars
Fun! Fun! Fun! This is why you go to the movies. I was not expecting much from this. but i have to admit that i actually... really... Loved it. It was a true Indy film -- it never felt like they were just doing this to make a quick buck, or force this on the ADD crowds of today. The story was good Enough... but the action was awesome. and i loved the little homages to the classic Indy movies. And i hv to give Shia even MORE props, he nailed mutt. Great fun

(SPOILER!!! the only thing i thought was ridiculous was the "Refrigerator" thing. COME ON??? That's a huuuuge stretch of the imagination guys. And yeah, the resolution of the story -- it felt very weird!)

Iron Man (Ironman) 3.5 Stars
Okay, everybody's been excited about this movie and Raving about it to me. And i finally see it...

well, Robert Downey Jr kicked ass. Gwyenth Paltrow was actually not... Sickening to me... in this movie. and I did actually kind of like the political mssg they had in there.

However, there were parts that draaaaaggged. AND parts of it were very predictable. VERY!

Overall not a bad flick, not enuff action but i'm actually more excited to see the sequel... but i still dont understand what all the fuss is about... Indy was waaay better =)

What Happens in Vegas (2008,  PG-13)
What Happens in Vegas 3.5 Stars
This movie was a bit of a surprise. It was a bit predictable, but it was moderatley funny. What really saves it is the fact that both Kelso err Kutcher and Diaz are so good and so likeable and so funny. I dont think this movie would have been half as good if it was Kate Hudson/Mcconaughey or another typical RomCom couple.

Typical RomCom. Heigl is a cutie though. She carried it, well her and Marsden did a good job of making this slighty less gag inducing as a typical Kate Hudson/Mcconaughey peice of crap.
