MCT:October 10, 2008Being a nostalgic fan of the original series, this had me wincing a fair share. The attitude, the music, Jason Lee, the computer animation and the low ambitions are all disappointing. At the same time, the script makes some fine observations on American pop culture and the ignorance of the masses. In that spirit, David Cross is hilarious as the loser record executive.

MCT:October 2, 2008This movie tries so hard --SO hard-- to be "hip" and "with it," but ends up being incredibly stupid. If you're older than 6 and younger than 60, it's very likely that you will hate this movie.

It's the Chipmunks - it was cute. Like them when I was a child & my child liked them when he was a child and the movie carries that 50s/60s & 80s/90s generation of fans into the present. Fun to see them animated in this new way. For me the "history of" the Chipmunks was the most interesting. Stop rolling your eyes at me everyone.

This Movie is So Awsome! Simon's My Favorite Chipmunk. Jason Lee Dose An OK Dave. David Cross Was Prettey Funny Playing An Evil Music Prodoucer.
I Love The CGI In This Movie. I Love This Movie...But The Plot Reminds Me Too Much Of ''Garfield: The Movie'' (Another Movie I Love), But I Still Love This Movie.
Overall, This Movie Is Really Great. -

MCT:September 1, 200888 Minutes was a very good thriller. It kept you guessing from the very start of the movie until the very end. I thought it was very slow moving and was hard to follow but still fun to see. It was a movie that you will only want to see once or twice in case you were confused. I think that I need to go see it again in order to figure out everything. The story was very good and was much more than Al Pachino only having 88 minutes to live. Their was a very good reason as to why he was being threatened with phone calls. It had some very good twists. The acting was played well from everyone. Their were very many actors in this movie. I think that their had to be over ten characters that played a pretty big role in this movie. Al Pachino of course gave a great performance. It seems like any movie with him in it is mostly good. This is one of those movies that if you leave for a minute you will be confused. One more thing though is that if you want tons of action their wasn't that much. Overall though I would recommend this movie to people who like good thrillers and guessing movies. I though it was great and fun to watch.

I usually don't watch films with subtitles but now I had to cuz I couldn't understand a single fuckin' thing the 'munks said. A word here and there but...
It's goddamn cute to watch poorly animated chips' with cute eyes and so on and so forth, but it simply wasn't my thing.
Bonus star for the raisin scene. -

well I would disagree of it being the best because I enjoyed loads of movies last year Starter for ten is one Hidalgo is another and Ratatouille was another but it is a very good movie and very funny but I just had to disagree of it being the best.

This movie I thought would be alright, I didn't think it would be or could be any where close to the actual Alvin and the Chimpmucks but I was greatly suprised. This movie is wonderful and wonderfully put together. I love it, and would love to see it again.
