this is pretty much my favourite movie of all time it is sooo good and i absolutley love audrey hepburn =]
This is one of my favorite movies. Audery Hepburn is amazing. I love her hair and how she dresses and I dont really care about that stuff.
Love both the book and the movie! I love it!! I love it!! I love it!!!
I love this type of movie! I love how everything just glows!!
My favorite part of this movie is of course the lovely Audrey Hepburn and her gorgeous hair-dos and fashion statements! I liked the quirky personality of Holly Golightly, her naïveté, and her vulnerable, child-like heart. There were some good scenes with great music to go with them, some interesting party scenes, and I adored the ending. Unfortunately, I found a lot of scenes were rather dull.
This movie is such a adorable romantic movie. Audrey Hepburn has a great performance, also cutie George Peppard as well!
Audrey Hepburn is simply breathtaking. She is greatly missed. Side note, was Buddy Edsen ever young?
Containing one of the most romantic scenes I have ever seen in a movie, Breakfast at Tiffany's is adorable, beautiful and sad at the same time. Audrey Hepburn is a classic beauty and this is a classic movie.
i loved this so very much. Audrey is so elegant and lovely in all of her films but in this she is amazing dahling.
An instant classic. Hepburn is just effortlessly perfect. She might be the most convincing actress of all time. George Peppard is such a good contrast, and I really wanna see some other movies by this director.
Audrey Hepburn is a delight in the unforgettable role of Holly Golightly, in this charming romantic comedy, adapted from Truman Capote's novella. Henry Mancini's wonderful score is the icing on the cake
I don't know in what proportion i was impressed by the story or the way the movie was produced, but Audrey Hepburn is gorgeous!
I always thought this is an old stupid movie cuz it looks so old. But it's totally not. This movie is CLASSIC. Now i understand y ppl luv it so much. It's classic, babe, classic luv comedy. And Audrey Hepburn is beautiful. Iluv her voice. Her character is also interesting. Holly is such a clueless chracter. Sometimes ppl r afraid of settling down, so they run away and be wild and controlless. Everyone is afraid of the new change. That's why i like Holly, she's beautiful and funny, intalegent and wierd. She's seems to not care anything, but she cares more than anyone.
This film makes me question my humanity - perhaps I am a robot? Or just simply built without a heart? Both are probable as I must admit I felt nothing for this boring story or it's characters. (I speak of course only of the MOVIE, and NOT the book.) I just may be the only person that fails to understand the crazy-love the world has for it.
Not only do I find Holly Go Lightly to be neither charming nor adorable, but feel that Hepburn's performance is quite unimpressive to boot. (in comparison to her others)
I'd like to relate with or find something redeeming about SOMEONE - ANY of the flittering individuals occupying this scenario, and yes, the presence of a troubled writer interested me - but my hopes were shattered with Varjak (Peppard) as he just turned out to be another bore caught up in the Go Lightly "spell" (why?? I haven't the slightest idea) And I certainly couldn't count on the stupidly cast Mickey Rooney with his offensively lame portrayal of the "oriental landlord." Yuck.
A Heartless-bot I may be, but this film is no great shakes.
This movie is great. I am obsessed with Audrey Hepburn! Anyway, the characters are great, and Holly is a great role for Audrey to portray.
I just watched this movie again and was very dissapointed though the breakfast at Tiffany's was still a great scene.
love comes in unexpected places and we really need to belong... it is not ownership but sharing.. very beautiful movie
Classic. My favorite Audrey film. Stays pretty true to the book. well as true as it could be for Audrey and the 60s.
Aah, Moon River. Nice to see producers actually letting Audrey Hepburn SING in a film for a change. Oh and the mask scene, and the kiss in the rain? Classic romantic moments here, people!
"What I've found does the most good is just to get into a taxi and go to Tiffany's. It calms me down right away, the quietness and the proud look of it; nothing very bad could happen to you there..."
I think it's overrated but in fairness the second half of the movie was good. I guess there are a lot of women like this is the world - and a lot that try to be like this too.
A thoroughly average script. Audrey Hepburn is at best un-convincing, at worst wretchedly irritating. And Mickey Rooney should have been hanged for his shameful performance But hey, at least they saved the cat...
There is no wonder why this is a pop classic. The concept of Breakfast at Tiffany's is still popular and there are bound to still be many struggling actors in NYC that are going thru the same thing as Hepburn's character. All in all, it has a great message. No matter who or where you are, be yourself!
A classic romantic comedy with the lovely Audrey Hepburn as Holly Golightly. Who can forget 'Moon River'?
'Holly Golightly: He's all right! Aren't you, cat? Poor cat! Poor slob! Poor slob without a name! The way I see it I haven't got the right to give him one. We don't belong to each other. We just took up one day by the river. I don't want to own anything until I find a place where me and things go together. I'm not sure where that is but I know what it is like. It's like Tiffany's.
Paul Varjak: Tiffany's? You mean the jewelry store.
Holly Golightly: That's right. I'm just CRAZY about Tiffany's!'
'Holly Golightly: I'll tell you one thing, Fred, darling... I'd marry you for your money in a minute. Would you marry me for my money?
Paul Varjak: In a minute.
Holly Golightly: I guess it's pretty lucky neither of us is rich, huh?
Paul Varjak: Yeah.'
'Holly Golightly: Thursday! It can't be! It's too gruesome!
Paul Varjak: What's so gruesome about Thursday?
Holly Golightly: Nothing, except I can never remember when it's coming up.'
'Paul Varjak: You know what's wrong with you, Miss Whoever-you-are? You're chicken, you've got no guts. You're afraid to stick out your chin and say, "Okay, life's a fact, people do fall in love, people do belong to each other, because that's the only chance anybody's got for real happiness." You call yourself a free spirit, a "wild thing," and you're terrified somebody's gonna stick you in a cage. Well baby, you're already in that cage. You built it yourself. And it's not bounded in the west by Tulip, Texas, or in the east by Somali-land. It's wherever you go. Because no matter where you run, you just end up running into yourself.
[takes out the ring and throws it in Holly's lap]
Paul Varjak: Here. I've been carrying this thing around for months. I don't want it anymore.'
'Holly Golightly: It should take you exactly four seconds to cross from here to that door. I'll give you two.'

Great movie. Audrey was classy, witty, funny and charming. The party scene was so funny.
although i didn't expected it it was a great movie!what an atmosfere..
When I was a projectionist and we showed this at our cinema, I would always wander into the back of the screen after I started it and watch the opening scene, look at the backs of our audience and feel a happiness that was quite rare and special.
hey guys i thought i was the only person who liked this kind of movie but I am so happy I am not alone :)
