When I was a projectionist and we showed this at our cinema, I would always wander into the back of the screen after I started it and watch the opening scene, look at the backs of our audience and feel a happiness that was quite rare and special.

I can watch this movie over and over. I love the way New York looked in this time period, the style, the way they talked. Audrey was amazing as Holly and George was a great "Fred".
