Not as bad as what I thought it was going to be.some friends on flixster said I should check it out,so I rented it.It's kinda got a couple of "head-turns"parts some infact really sick.I felt sorry for the dog.It had a good storyline and the acting was alright.some parts crab you,It was kinda a cross between Seven and 8mm.It's a dark movie for sure.But I would'nt say its one of those "torture porn"movies It's worth the rent when all the new movies in the movie store are out.

This fun addition to the torture porn genre certainly grabs your attention by ramping up the sadistic cruelty. Mostly predictable, but with some genuine surprises scattered throughout. The gorgeous Elisha Cuthbert does well in a fairly standard horror-type role and the writing is fairly good. Ultimately, the gore is the star of the show and there is plenty to go around. Good fun, especially if you don't want to use your brain for 80 minutes.

Pretty good Thriller which really picks up in the middle for quite an exciting finish. Similar to the Saw films but Elisha Cuthbert also gives it a bit of an edge. I really liked it :)

No mystery behind this film. Two sick freaks kidnapping women for their own sexual kicks and to top it off I missed the last 10 minutes of the film, so I have no idea if the girl got away or not?!

MCT:October 16, 2008Just stupid. An extremely predictable and not very well acted film. Cuthbert did a good job but she never should have been in this film. Stupid twist.

This pointless horror film is just a Saw rip-off or wannabe without a good twist & dull performances that turn out to be predictable.At times the sound effects are loud & annoying besides the movie wasn't even that shocking or gory like it was intended to be.Don't expect this to be gory as the Saw franchise & Hostel or to be in the same level as these films because Captivity gives a bad name to torture porn.The director came up with his shock tactics to get a reaction of the viewers but some of the scenes turn out to be too silly.

The twist is completely rubbish as well as the whole film. Honestly, you could see the twist 100 miles away!
