Love the graphics, now I know why it took them a lot of years to complete this movie, I hope that it was well worth it.

I always forget that I watch these movies. I want to rate and review movies only as I see them (new or again). This is my son's favorite next to Speed Racer and the reason I will likely see a NASCAR race in my lifetime. This is my second least favorite Pixar movie, which is still 4 stars. It's a very plain story with some witty banter but not very exciting action and a maturation story that even kids shouldn't really need to follow. But the animation in this movie is better than Nemo and only second to Wall-e. Animation geeks should love it as it amazing what they can do with shiny metal and dirt, dust and open land.

Better than i thought it was going to be at first. Lightning McQueen is a bit of a self-obsessed car who stumbles upon a little, broke (financially) town. It shows the message of going though a 'country road' can be more than fun! I agree.

I admire the hard work that was put into Cars, and it really paid off. My only complaint is that I wish it would have been longer, I felt like I wanted to know more about it. Other than that it was a great movie- not only for kids but adults too.

Really didn't like it much. I was very unimpressed with this, especially considering all the fuss that everyone put up about it.

conservatism, nostalgia, ruralism...this movie has everything needed to be a hit in the midwest. those of us not afraid of change, though, will just cringe every time we hear larry the cable guy's voice. this movie would have been better if it wasn't even made.

Pixar maintain their record for great films despite what some reviewers have said.

Cars is a beautiful looking film that is bursting with imagination and creative flair. It flows at a gentle pace but has enough humour to keep most people amused. The tractor tipping scene is hilarious! (27.11.06), (13.10.08)

A fun animated movie about what would happen if the cars that people drive every day could talk. This movie has a great soundtrack including some fun Country Music (my favorite genre). This movie will be enjoyed by the entire family again and again!

Lightling McQueen (Owen Wilson) becomes championship @ Piston Cup stock car racing when he discovers that Doc Hudson (Paul Newman) is actually the "Hudson Hornet", a three-time Piston Cup champion forced to retire after a racing accident, who chose to disappear quietly in Radiator Springs was once a popular waypoint along U.S. Route 66.

Not Pixar's finest hour. Still a good film - but a children's film through and through. Seems to be a stopgap between Incredibles and Ratatouille. Kids will love the basic Disney sentiment.
Animation is beautiful in places - but nothing special

Good story and memoraable characters. The animation quality was outstading, the background scenery looked pretty real.

one of the best pixar movies ever this movie made me laugh and it almost made me cry like at the end of the movie but this was a gd movie it had gd actors in here to well if you have not seen this movie its about Lightning McQueen is a young, hotshot rookie race car in the last race of the season. At the end of the race, he finds out he is tied with Chick Hicks and The King. On the way to the tie-breaker race in Los Angeles, California, some hot punk cars get him lost in a little town called Radiator Springs on the old Route 66 road, which has been long forgotten many years ago. Scared to death, he tears up the town's main road and is sentenced to community service by Doc Hudson. During this time, he meets a funny, but lovable tow truck named Mater and a Porsche Carrera named Sally. He also meets some other cars, whom which he finds to be quite odd. All he wants to do is get out of this town and back into the big city, but as the week until the race goes on, the town folk help him discover that life isn't just about trophies, fame, and sponsorships and McQueen learns about family and friendship. but this was a really gd movie and its funny to great pixar movie so i love it a really gd pixar movie=]

An ok pixar film. Pacing was off during the film. Hopefully the sequel will be better. Sadly, it will be without the voice of Paul Newman.
