Plot: Psychological twists and turns strangle the plot of this disappointing effort from the director of The Stunt Man, Richard Rush. Emotionally damaged psychiatrist Bruce Willis leaves his practice...( read more read more... ) behind and moves to LA when a patient commits suicide in front of him. Out of the goodness of his broken heart, he takes over the practice of a murdered colleague (Scott Bakula). Jane March is the needy but mysterious woman who literally crashes into his life, making sexual advances the good doctor soon reciprocates. What March seems to need most, however, is underwear. The plot and the dialogue vacillate between silly and inane, leaving us with some so-so sex and overblown performances. This could explain why it was the winner of the 1995 Razzie Award for Worst Picture. If you want a more effective thriller that delves into damaged psyches, take another look at Alfred Hitchcock's Vertigo. --Rochelle O'Gorman

    It's an interesting dark movie.
The sex scene between Bruce and Jane March in the swimming pool is memorable.

This was another one of those movies with hot sex, that I originally watched as a teenager and thought that was the height of its entertainment. Revisiting it as an adult, I see that there is also good drama within it. Nice acting. Nice ensemble. Although Jane March's acting made the secret of her character a little too obvious... Oh, but wait! Ruben Blades was utterly amazing! He was the gem in this movie!

    In a word, embarrassing....

A totally redundant plot that made no sense at all.The thriller side of it was just poor and the whole reveal at the end was painful to watch...

Quite why Bruce got involved will remain a bigger mystery to me and I could have done without seeing his joint too..... To his credit though, he looks totally bemused throughout...

    Bad, just plain bad.....
