Christmas are soon here once again and a christmas flick can be great as an early taste of what will come.. Fred Clause are a family comedy movie with Vince Vaughn and many other famous actors in this fantasy story. Im not quite sure everyone will enjoy it tho. The movie could have been more funny perhaps but there are some good scenes atleast. Well made with a decent story but for me "Christmas Vacation" will always stay on top in this genre.

MCT:November 16, 2008This did such a good job at putting me in the holiday spirit! I loved it! Vince Vaughn can get annoying pretty fast, but he was great in this film! Paul Giamatti is one of the greatest actors alive, and he was AMAZING as Santa! I was delightfully surprised by all of the other big names in this film, not to mention the little sibling cameos! Great holiday movie!

It was pretty good, in fact there were scenes I found hysterical (Namely the army of Santas). It was a very good spirited movie that brought a very good angle (Though it was an angle that wasn't completely original). What really brings this movie together is the scenes with Giamatti and Vaughn interacting. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the appearance of Kevin Spacey! I did not miss the Lex Luthor/Superman reference either, and that was a very good subtle joke on their part. All together a good, solid Christmas movie for the whole family.

I actually liked this xmas movie, it was cute and not overly stupid. I felt annoyed by their mother who played favorites and I thought it was unfair.

MCT:September 26, 2008Would have worked better as a Christmas drama than as a comedy. The jokes were not funny, but the premise had potential. A lot of talent was wasted in the movie, and it showed with uninspired laughs and acting.

Thought this might be a tacky christmas movie so wasnt quite sure what to expect.
But its was really good absolutely loved the whole thing !
Beautiful set .. great story & had a good message :)

Really a kids movie. But always enjoy anything where Vince Vaughn is dancing around. Not one of his better movies.

where is the kid in you and make believe? Its a time for God and Jesus's birthday and the miracles of christmas. Take awe in everything god created and watch the movie in a childs eyes. it's beautiful. Ever see tim allen in the santa clause? Or when tim allen has to take a wife in mrs santa clause. I may be a grandma ,but I still love the way children see make believe and still believe in magic.
