MCT:June 18, 2007I've seen a lot more of Star Trek (there's a lot more to see). So I appreciate this spoof and homage very much. The cast is very good at sending up fan convention heroes thrust into action they aren't prepared for.

MCT:November 29, 2008funny. star trek pastiche and homage but showing the absurdity of the 'trekkie' culture simultaneously. And man, is sigourney hot in this! alan rickman deadpan funny and best film tim allen has done. the good aliens were a bit annoying but overall worth the effort

MCT:November 20, 2008Extremely overrated, lamer than lame and not funny in the slightest. The Thermians are so unbelievably fucking annoying, I hated them so much and they made me feel like gouging my eyeballs out. I pretty much hated everyone in this movie actually, I wish they'd all just blown themselves out of an airlock or something. The only thing that could have made this movie a little better is more adult humor.

MCT:November 13, 2008This movie is cute! Corny but cute. :) "Never give up! Never surrender!" Tim Allen plays the comander of a ship on a tv series. Thing is, the "transmissions" of "historical documents" is seen by an alien race who duplicates the "historical documents" they saw into their own world and come to earth for help from this, "Commander" and their crew. Lots of comedy and funny situations. Lots of big name stars in this movie.

MCT:November 11, 2008This is a very funny movie. A great take on a Star Trek based characters and changing the story a little. The movie has great special effects. Tim Allen and Alan Rickman are both great in this.
