    good film about reality and how your life can end just like that and how violence is o n the uprise and how we all need to get away from those violent actions taken upon us and start progressing towards a positive future

    THIS WAS ONE OF THE GRITTIEST TALES OF STREET LIFE THAT COULD'VE BEEN PRESENTED AND TYRIN TURNER
    DID A VERY GOOD JOB OF A KID WHO REFUSES TO BE PUNKED WHILE DECIDING ON WHAT LIFE HE WANTS TO LIFE "THE REAL BOYZ IN THE HOOD"

    Another classic movie. Well written and acted. Much credit goes to Larenz Tate who brought a real grit and grime to the movie.

    no the only black films i liked when this came out were the light hearted comedic type or ones that showed africans in positive family life.

    This film isn't 'gangster', ganster is The Godfather n Goodfellas, this is more 'Gangsta', a very big difference
