I really like this film. My favorite film starring Tom Selleck. The story was great having a older baseball player coming to Japan and helping his career. The movie has some good laughs and a decent story. A must for baseball fans.
It wasn't as good as I thought it would be, but it was still a pretty decent movie. I got a little bored at times though.
If you like baseball, you'll dig this movie. It's kinda cheesy and it's not exactly Oscar-worthy, but Tom Selleck is pretty convincing as a struggling major leaguer who is traded to a Japanese team. If you've seen all the new releases (except Thin Red Line, which you should avoid like the plague) and you're looking for something light-hearted and entertaining, this movie is a safe bet.
This movie isn't as funny as I expected it to be. A long, drawn out boring semi-comedy that really did not hold my interest.
