Only sort of good cuz of the action-shoot you kill you fuck you scenes. Kind of like marriage. I love you and I like to hump you but I could shoot you in the head right now and not bat an eyelash.

John Smith: No, you're not gonna kill her.»Mr. & Mrs. Smith is a very intense, action packed movie that tells us a story of two assassins that got married and lived happy until the moment they discovered that both of them kill people for living. The film starts with both of them attending marriage counseling. We get to know the story of how they met each other and quickly felt in love the same moment. However, after all the years together, they find their family life boring and dull, and start wondering where ever or not the other knows about what the first one is actually does for living. Somewhere half way through the film, both will get and assignment to kill the same guy, which will eventually lead them to finding out the truth about each other.
There is a lot of mixture between both leading actors which shows right from the start. Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie are perfect for their roles, both looking hot, cool and extravagant. As we know, both starred in some action movies before so it was really clever to pick them both for this film. It is great to watch both of them kill people, and than innocently having dinner the same evening. The funny side has been presented really well in this film, whenever there is a fight scene, there is also a little bit of humour in it. One of the most notable scenes is when Smith's face each other in a fierce battle in their own house. After both are exhausted and cannot fight any longer, they realise that they both desire to be together rather than kill each other. The whole cast did really well, and it is hard no to enjoy each and every one of them, especially Vince Vaughn who was hilarious throughout the whole movie.
The only strange thing about this movie is that there is no big romance going on. There are some slight signs of love, but most of them shown in a humorous way, and we cannot really understand most of them. The script was full of holes and unexplained bits, and the movie just looked very unrealistic. On the other hand, the whole idea of the film is really clever. We get to see a typical family relationship, but only it has been taken to the new level. Instead of both lovers shouting and screaming at each other, we get to see them trying to kill themselves. It is a great fun to watch, but it does get a bit boring considering how long this film is.
Mr. & Mrs. Smith is just pure action movie, which you don't have to take serious or even try and work it out, just sit and enjoy the action. Just like the final scene, the whole movie is ridiculous, yet extremely pleasant to watch.

I dont normally watch movies where there is a lot of guns and shooting and that kinda thing, but I thought I should watch it since its one that many people have seen. I was bored the first 30-45 minutes and almost didnt want to finish it, but as it went on, it really got my attention. Cute story and I like the relationship of the Smiths. Im pleased with the overall movie and would reccomend it to anyone even if its not their type of movie.

well, i really didn't like it. yeah i like the actions scenes, but im really not a fan of pitt and jolie. but, i have to say they're good actors. i just don't like them in the movie.

Jolie and Pitt are, undeniably, an amazing, intense, and sexy duo. This movie could not have been casted better (including Vince Vaughn as the bumbly funny sidekick!) It was cool, sexy, and funnier than I was expecting. I highly recommend it.

This was a good movie! It had tons of action and lots of comedy; how could you go wrong. Of course, it's far fetched, but it was fun.
