El principal defecto de esta screwball comedy, es lo predecible que resulta desde el inicio. Jack Nicholson y la experta en el género de la comedia, Diane Keaton, son los protagonistas principales de una historia que intenta lucir un feminismo algo tímido y amigable.
La hija de Erica (Diane Keaton), una dramaturga divorciada, llega con su novio de sesenta y tantos años, Harry (Jack Nicholson), a pasar unos días de descanso en una casa en la que todos acabarán coincidiendo, incluyendo la amiga de Erica, interpretada por Frances MacDormand, que representa la parte feminista de la película.
Nicholson termina llevándose la película por completo, como es típico en las comedias que protagoniza, mientras Diane Keaton lucirá, en ocasiones, sobreactuada (las escenas en las que llora llegan a ser algo insoportables). Pero ese no es tanto el problema. Al fin y al cabo, quién no puede resistir el carisma de la Keaton, incluso en la más floja de sus películas. El guión es pobre y rutinario. Jack Nicholson se luce e improvisa a sus anchas, en toda la extensión de la palabra, ya que se permite enseñar el derriére con una bata de hospital mal puesta. Y la Keaton no se queda atrás con un desnudo en el que enseña...lo necesario.

Jack Nicholson and Dian Keaton are very good, and I always love Frances McDormand. This just isn't my type of movie so I didn't enjoy it, but it's still a good romantic comedy.

MCT:October 3, 2008What american pie did for reviving the teen comedy genre, this did for reviving the Rom-Com. After the classic Sleepless In Seattle, many other romantic comedies came to the surface soon after such as the likeable One Fine Day, but this smart, well written and directed modern masterpiece did all the riviving work.
Jack proves yet again exactly why he is my favorite actor and the rest of the cast are great in there roles aswell. Yes, even Keanu Reeves, who I still don't see why most people don't like him.
Although this doesn't quite top When Harry Met Sally, this comes very close to doing so.
You've just Gotta Give this film praise. -

wow this is a good movie 2 watch,...i have just seen this movie 4 the 1st time n think that this is a good Drama, Comedy movie 2 watch,.,..this has got a good cast of actors/actressess throughout this movie...i think that jacknicholson n diane keaton both play good lead parts throughout this movie...i think that keanu reeves is great throughout this movie as well...this is a good romance/Drama, Comedy movie 2 watch n its funn as well

A delightful romantic comedy for a more mature audience. The chemistry between Jack Nicholosn and Diane Keaton is amazing. Beautiful cinematography and score by Michael Ballhaus and Hans Zimmer, respectively. The cast is pretty good. You got Jack Nicholson, great (as he always is), Amanda Peet (adorable), Frances McDormand (one of my favorite actresses; I get SO happy whenever I see her on screen), even Keanu Reeves was good. Obviously, the film's greatest performance is that of Diane Keaton. She is absolutely perfect (although, I hated the crying part). Hilarious and romantic movie. The best part was Frances McDormand dancing and singing "Let's Get It On".

Jack Nicholson and Diane Keaton are really fun in this movie. I can only hope I look as good as Diane Keaton when I'm her age! I reccomend this one and own it.

En realidad me sorprendi mucho después de ver este filme de comedia pues en un principio creí que no valia la pena verlo pero despues de haberlo hecho no me arrepiento.
En esta película la comedia y el drma se conjugan de muy buena manera todo gracias a Diana y Jack quienes son los protagonistas y quienes le dan un sabor interesante a los filmes de comedia que en su mayoria estan llenos de gente joven.
La historia es buena, la actuación también aunque un poco sobre hecha pero le da ese toque tipico de Jack.
En realidad puede verse para entretenerse un rato. -

I really really thought that I would hate the movie but I didn't.
Not only does the story flow really well together with the entire cast, the twist at the end is very interesting.
Again Diane Keaton saves a movie for me that would have probably been terrible. -

Funny yet weird at the same time. Honestly anything thats got Jack Nicholson in it is a bit twisted, but thats not necessarily a bad thing. Story line was interesting, but its one of those movies that you would watch maybe once or twice a year then put it back on the shelf.

Cannot believe I forgot to review this movie!! MUST SEE!! Funny tho serious themes....love across the generations...Francis McDermond plays a wonderful performance as hung up famous author (played by Diane Keaton)'s wonderfully free-spriited sister!!

A great casts, a very good story, probably, for me it's really fun watching this film. You're gonna laugh a lot on this film, coz it's a first rate enjoyable film. Watch it please? It's a MUST SEE FILM. :D

I love this movie it is hilarous. An you laugh threw the whole movie. I love Diane she is very beautiful lady for being a older woman. An she does so good in this movie.

i like Diane Keaton in this movie. I really get the feel. She's a tough, independent, smart, but finally found herself to love and to be loved. By the way, i like movie in which starring a senior citizen who can survive in life by their own.
