I know I know, about time, sheesh there are so many good movies and SO little time.Anyway I loved this! Andie proved she could do it to it when needed, and Meryl Streep just rocks my socks ,I swear to God! I WISH I could pull off being a bitch in such a calm, cool, and collected demeanor.LOVED it!
I was so bored whilst watching this movie...
I love Meryl streep's look, its brilliant!
She made this movie watchable!
Dis film shows s determination of a young lady, and shows both sides of d coin regarding fashion...it inspires me
Clothes, shoes, fashion trends, makeup, and weight concious women..and you wonder why men think women as big spenders. What was the purpose of this movie exactly? My verdict: horrible movie. reasonably acting, bad bad story line.
Anne Hathaway started out in the Princess Diarys and ever since then has opened up and become an award winning actress! This movie is an excellent movie with her in it, admitedly I just wanted to see the cast perform together and look how wonderfully they did
it's a good movie. well, i find it very exciting.
and the RUNWAY. i love it.
A. HATHAWAY was a good actress. even if she's only simple there she looks very sexy & elegant.
The cast was great. I loved when Anne Hathaway did her make over. I think it truly protrayed the changes that can be caused by attempting to please. I still can't believe she left her hot boyfriend for the old guy!
Why, Meryl, why do you sign onto crappy movies knowing full well I will have to watch it only for you?
I really liked this movie, because the charactrer roles were played well by the actors. Their personalities were played to the hilt and you got to know each one and what each of them were striving for. An eye opener in the magazine world of deadlines and fashion. A highly stressed job; very interesting and entertaining. Loved the clothes. Funny parts, I can watch this over and over!
es una peli muy buena !! no me queda más que decir,la disfrute muchisimo y te enseña que aunque una persona muestre indiferencia no quiere decir que en el fondo no te aprecie solo es su forma de ser.
good, but Ann Hathaway's stuttering and stammering gets annoying. I don't know why I have to watch this movie every time it's on
Andy Sachs is the new assistant to the editor Miranda Priestly, a very demanding and impossible-to -live -with editor of a fashion magazine. It's a job that 'a million girls would die for' but for Andy, it turns out to be too much for her to cope with. Andy managed to turn her back to the people who loved her, her boyfriend and her friends, for her work - clothes, shoes, belts....Anne Hathaway did a fabulous part as Andy in this movie. I can't think of another person who would have done it.
I don't think I'm much of a fan of Anne Hathaway, but she does a good job, playing the character of Andrea (Andy) Sachs. Even more outstanding though is the icy cold atmosphere of the office, and the high demands of Miranda Priestly (played by Meryl Streep, who does a fantastic job being high and mighty, as well as human, in the end.)
Who would have thought meryl Streep that sly old thing - has the best part in this movie and I loved Anne Hathaway's mega transformation to her part - I almost didn't recognise her. Beautifully executed..sadly guilty for her mistakes - a great component of my DVD collection
Don't get me wrong, I do like cheesy films every now and then, but...
This film was completely awful. It was very similar to Ugly Betty, but a really crap film version of it. I especially like how they keep telling her that a size 6 is fat (have you seen her?!), so she becomes a size 4 and everyone is pleased. Great message. Haha. This is a film with no heart, even though it tried to get some at the end. Not worth the time.
Nice clothes though!
Massively cheesy all the way through. It should really be called 'Ugly Betty - the movie'. And when they referred to Anne Hathaway as fat, I had to laugh. The best line of the movie though was this: 'I made a mistake, I'm sorry'. I guarantee you'll never hear a woman say those words.
i already read the book before saw the movie...there's so many different between movie and the book. but i still love the book
One of only two or three movies in my life that I've had to stop watching without finishing, because it was just so awful.
fashionable movie.. lots of nice clothes being paraded right in front of you...lets you enter/glimpse the fashion scene...the plot is interesting too...meryl streep was very good
Really fun and totally hilarious. Meryl and Anne were good in it, sure, but Emily and Stanley stole the show!
Meryl Streep has some of the best lines ever written for a woman in this movie. Why didn't she get an Oscar for this role?
Well, this movie wasn't too bad. I liked it. I really liked the woman who played Miranda, she did an excellent job playing a rich strict bossy snob. But I thought it was Glen Close through the whole movie and then i found out who it was. Woa! I love Anne Hathaway, she did a great job. I loved some of the clothes she wore. She looked so cute in them too (a little jealousy here perhaps). I'm not big on fashion chick flicks, but this wasn't too bad. I liked how she had to do all that work and for nothing too it seemed like, and then finally she got some credit for what she did and she even got the job she wanted with New York Times after all right?! I was just sad about what happened between her and her boyfriend and some of her other friends too. But everything worked out in the end alright. I really like that Suddenly I see song. I really liked looking at all the cute and gorgeous outfits. It was a good movie.
That movie was the best even though it seemed sooo lond it was really cool plus it had Ann Hathway in it!!!!
Excellent way to show how hard a girl try to make it to the top working!! I used to have a boss like that!!! nasty bi...!! love fashion shows and Ann hathaway did an excellent work with her 'before and after'..

man...dis movie was to gud...some scary shit parts..but al in da same....gud..n i loved it...
i love the part wher stanley tucci gives anne hathaway clothes and says we're headin for the beauty department and God knows how long thats gonna take.
if you expect a film to be different obviously yer gunna be disappointed if it turns out not wat you think its going to be like..thats a big derrrrrr factor!!! this film was a typically funny girly flick where you have yer mates ova for munchies and a glass of wine.. or with yer mum. its a easy going film..
recommenede for a gurly night in!:) xoxox
