Every time Mark Wahlberg spoke I heard Andy Samburg doing his impression of Mark Wahlberg. First "We Own The Night" and now this. What a disappointing movie.

I may be in the minority but I enjoyed this alot more than I was expecting. A nicely done, briskly paced, end of the world type thriller.

Of course I thought Lady In The Water was pretty good too so...

So this is what M. nights movie would be if they were rated R. Eye catching. Its a good watch. Kind of scary because of the scare we have now a days.

I'm quite surprised that this movie has been disliked by so many people. I'm not a fan of M. Night Shyamalan at all!!! I've basically hated every one of his movies except for Unbreakable. His past couple movies have been absolutely dreadful. But this film in my opinion is definately one of my favorite by him. Now nothing will ever beat Unbreakable in my opinion. But this movie was better than most of his other films. First of all I didn't have very high expectations because I'm not a Shyamalan fan. But I wanted to see the film because I am a Mark Wahlberg fan. I really enjoyed this movie. I thought it was quite trippy and creepy.

Again an interesitng concept but a real let down. Im a Shyamalan fan so maybe I have super high expectations. I think wea re all looking for that same shock we got at the end of his first film.
Hoping the diretors edit on video wil be better.

It was not what I expected. I expected a scary movie, but all it was was a waste of time. I just don't see how M. Knight Shallaman made any money off of this movie due to the fact it was about basically nothing. There really was no explanation, just "here it is, this is what it is, and here's what happened." Blah Blah Blah. I regret the $2.50 that I spent on renting it and I don't recommend it to ANYONE.

I thought this movie was awesome pretty scary in some parts and gruesome, All in all a very appealling movie for those who like abit of horror. the storyline was a bit confusing as I couldn't understand what the couple were dealing with they were having problems in their relationship but no information was given about it.

I thought it was done, and had me guessing the whole time. I think it was a smart idea to make it an eco-thriller, because the environment is a concern for us now, more than ever. Now I don't think plants are going to release toxins in the air that make us commit suicide, but the human population could die out if we don't start getting our act together.

I hate Mark Wahlberg. Aside from that, I give Night big props for bringing some attention to the environment; this movie has a pretty good message, and something that does need to happen. And I'm talking about the thinning of the human race. There are too many damn people on this planet, and, well, we're killing it. So why shouldn't it get a little revenge?

Everything else here was too trite for me. The atmosphere in the beginning was pretty eerie, but eventually it just became dull. Not to mention emotionless. And how about a big comparison between leads. Check out Signs with Mel and Joaquin, and look at Marky Mark and Zooey Deschanel; no screen presence at all. And no, Marky Mark's brow furrowing doesn't count. I love Night, but it's too bad he's indulging himself so soon, at least make a few more GOOD movies. What the hell happened?

I can see why this movie didn't do as well. I don't think it deserved the R rating as it seemed to be a soft R movie to me. With all the hype about this being M. Night's "1st R-rated movie" it felt like more of a publicity thing. The plot was interesting and there were some suspenseful moments, but overall the movie just didn't quite cut it like Night's previous films.

I wasn't at all suprised to find out that I once again was dissapointed by another . Night Shayamalan movie. I found this movie to be really slow paced, not much to the plot and Mark Wahlberg's acting was horrible!

It's a great idea. A silent, unknown killing machine knocking people off while a science teacher tries to figure out why. But it just didn't work.

NEVER. WATCHING. HORROR MOVIES AGAIN. It is not even "happening". The film also did not explain why the 1 person in Central Park was not affected when her friend is.

I thought this movie was good, the director used his imagination to have nature included in the movie.

It was full of thrill. This is the first I saw Mark Wahlberg perform as a very innocent looking for many movies. The film also made me very confusing due to its story but I loved the thrill shown.

I don't care if you think it was crap or not.

I'm not messing with plants anymore. They might make me run myself over with a brush hog.

This movie has an extreamly boring storyline and doesn't make much sense. I don't know what sort of impact it was suposed to make but I was left wondering if it was suposed to be a scary movie, a drama or a comedy. I was not scared or moved at all in any part of the movie. The movie wasn't funny either with the exception of a few moments but it just seemed like a piss take. I wouldn't recomend this to anyone, unless you want to be bored to death.

As opposite as it may be to MOST people.
I loved the film! It was enjoyable aswell as disturbing. It's a strange but lovable film. It was something I've never seen before and something worth watching again!!. I loved the acting, the script, the plot whatever - I loved every bit of it. For me it was a suspenseful heart pounder and breathing teaser. By the end of it, it leaves you in deep thought (Some may not have felt this same reaction though?). Can't wait for the DVD. Mark Wahlberg is a fantastic actor. He is really diverse and is starting to really flow into drama (which I think is nice!) even though we love him in action.

Oh and I don't know if this is considered a spoiler but... What is REALLY scary about this film is WHAT YOU CAN NOT SEE. It's something alot more deeper than mare psychos with a knife or zombies eating your body. It scares you because it's ---- undefinable.
