Plot: Fugitive Dr. Bruce Banner must utilize the genetic accident that transforms him into a giant, rampaging hulk to stop a former soldier that purposely becomes an even more dangerous version.
not so sure why Norton is so proud of writing the script! actually "writing" is an over-statement.
The main elements here were special effects, fire, noise, noise and noise! lots and lots of noise as the sweet hulk screams his head off every five seconds, im sure that took up many pages while writing!
lucky for Norton he didn't have much acting to do, he really needed to focus on his screen writing career. However he wasn't terrible in the few shots he was at..no surprises here.
On the other hand his green action figure was, maybe an improvement over Lee's Hulk but non the less still looks like a large plastic toy.
The poor character development was a result of trying to completely alienate this film from A.Lee's film . i say it hurt more then helped. personally i would have liked to see a mix of both.
Incredible Hulk serves well an a pop corn action flick, it one is looking for 100 mins of chase sequences, explosions and no real story Then Incredible Hulk is perfect.
It took me approximately 1 hour and twelve minutes to realize the talking horse I was watching on screen wasn't a horse and it was actually Liv Tyler.
The Hulk character holds a special place in my heart because of Bill Bixby, so I was excited to see a fresh take on this comic hero. "The Incredible Hulk" is exactly that: a fresh take. Not a do-over, but rather an exposition of the elements put forth by Ang Lee in the first attempt to tell this story. This new film hearkens back to the Bixby series more than anything else. And I believe that's what makes it so enjoyable.
deffinatly was not as good as i thought it would be but if your a fan of half naked giant green men then its a must see
Not as good as 'iron Man', but still a cool movie. I was a bit skeptical about this because the 1st one was such a bad movie. This one turned out to be pretty good, though.
Alot of cool references to the old television show, which is cool since I liked that show alot. Ed Norton was good as Dr. Bruce Banner, and although I'm not to crazy for over-the-top special effects, the hulk looked pretty cool in this one.
(Tall, lean, and more athletic looking compared to the bulky cartoony one form the other movie)
I am not a Hulk fan. Never liked the comics, tv show or previous movies. It always manages to come off looking fake. I was suprised by this version. The story line made this work. It did a good job of holding my interest. The scenes were he is the Hulk are still far from realistic, but is an improvement over the past film. I still don't consider myself a fan of the Hulk, but I found this more entertaining than previous Hulk stuff.
not bad but far from great. The hulk looked better and ending was better, acting took a slight drop, and editing was vastly inferior to HULK (2003). The end result about same quality movie. No need to restart franchise and it almost works as a continuation with out really being one. I would like to see Peter Jackson do a hulk because the hulk does not need to be all cgi, although Jackson's cgi characters usually look great, and Jackson proved with lord of rings how to tweak scale.
There is no point to this movie...don't remake a movie that's already been made unless you have a kick-ass vision for it. This looks absolutely mediocre and run-of-the-mill.
Run-of-the-mill comic book adaptation. Haven't seen the first one but not even Ed Norton's performance could have stopped me from getting totally bored watching this. Plenty of explosions & fighting but not enough story. And sorry but Tim Roth was totally mis-cast in this. Nice little cameo from Tony Stark at the end though.
Well where to begin. Compared to the first one it has alot more action and special effects. But they're were things in the first one I liked better. Mainly because it followed the comic books and cartoons more. When Hulk gets hurt he self regenerates and when he gets mad he has the ability to triple in size. These were two things they had in the first film but not in the second. And they made the Hulk look kinda whimpy in this one. But I have to agree with everybody about the Hulk smash. Probably the best sceen in the whole movie. And the thunder clap was crazy good. Overall it was a good flick to see in theatres.
It was awesome the new villain in the movie was great "abomination". The ending fight was just great!!!!
pain, pain, pain. the only good thing about this movie is trailer. the rest of the movie is crap. sory Edward
"The Incredible Hulk" is two times better than the previous Hulk movie directed by Ang Lee. This movie was a superhero movie with a super hero movie like storyline. Although it had a promising cast, with Edward Norton as the HULK and Liv Tyler, Tim Roth and William Hurt in the supporting roles, it did not end up being as good as it was hyped up to be. "
The Incredible Hulk" recounts the struggle of Dr. Bruce Banner (Edward Norton) to return his body back to the normal state it was before the hulk became a part of him. This movie has no connections with the previous hulk movie.
This time round the graphics and the storyline are much better. The casting is also pretty good. But all these things are not good enough to make this movie elevate itself to the standard of the "dark Knight".
Don't get me wrong, It has some very impressive fight sequences especially the ones with the two Hulks. The look of the film is much darker which fits with the story perfectly. Edward Norton and Liv Tyler have a very good chemistry and I found their King Kong type love scene on the rocks quite interesting...but all these things just don't seem enough. Throughout the movie I had a feeling that something was missing, that something more needs to be there.
Maybe, it was the story line, which was just simple. I just don't know.
It is a good movie. Not average but good.! Fans of Hulk will no doubt love it, but like I said before, it just didn't do IT for me. that spark you need to light you up in a movie and make you remember it was there but that spark wasn't strong enough!
I really liked it. It was sad...which is why I liked it so much. I'm buying it when it comes out on DVD!!!
Good,as I expected,Norton performed well,Hulk is realy well done character,we'll wait for the second part
I saw this one, and it was actually kinda good. It was great that they had Robert Downey Jr. in it. In fact, lol, I only went to go see it because he was in it for like 5 min. well anyways, he's a great actor. After seeing this, I kind of expected more from a awesome sounding superhero movie like this. It makes you feel empty at the end.
It wasn't boring. What more can you ask from this type of movie? It's a rare chance to see Norton in a movie, who could complain?
Amazing and it was ten times better than that first remake. The plot line and the action totally meshed this time around.
Following Iron Man's success, Marvel Studio's second feature seems less clever and fresh, but as a longtime Hulk fan, I found it equally entertaining. Its dark overtones and far more kinetic action scenes set it apart from Iron Man, though both share a great cast, cool cross-references and a sense of fun that make them exciting. Despite a few cartoony digital effects and a lack of real depth, the film deserves recognition with Iron Man as great summer entertainment.
This film is really underrated at least it was better than the last Hulk film was all I thought, the main thing that anoyed me about this was Liv Tylers voice! But I love how they connect it to Iron Man so they can make an Avengers movie!
One of the better comic book movies that a lot of people are likely to not see. I'm glad Marvel gave Hulk another chance and with another great cast, in my mind a better cast even though Bana is awesome. Edward Norton and Liv really are Bruce and Betty and Tim Roth and William hurt are just awesome. This movie is underrated I feel.
A phenomenal cast of B-actors! I'm pretty ashamed to say that I kind of enjoyed it. Edward Norton still seems to be cruisin' on his downward spiral though. It's a little upsetting. I'm beginning to think American History X and Fight Club were merely flukes.
I'm still not too enthousiastic about the character but a simpler story, more action and some nice visuals make for a satisfying, if not exactly incredible reboot!

This movie rocked...way better than the 1st....
Can't wait for the next in series..
Loved the movie. Way better than the terrible first one. This is totally a new francise of Hulk. I was not that crazy about Liv Tyler as Betty, but she did pretty well.
Now did anyway catch or see how they brought in another villain??? Yep there<s a="a" birth="birth" hulk="Hulk" of="of" one="one" scene="scene" see="see" the="the" we="we" where="where"><s and="and" do="do" enemies="enemies" i="I" it="it" lee.="Lee." loved="Loved" major="major" mean="mean" not="not" possible="possible" sequel="sequel" stan="Stan"/></s>
Glad to note that incredible hulk is back.Something to compete with the likes of spiderman, batman, iron man and superman. I will certainly check it out.
GREAT. GREAT MOViE
Love Edward Norton!
Love Hulk..
A Must see movie i guess!
The adventures of a wondering homeless man and his would be girlfriend, does that sound entertaining to you or just depressing? Well ok what if we add a 10 foot 700 lb angry green gorilla? would that make it any better? why green? green is good right?Money is green. I mean is everybody happy with green?
Its settled then. we'll go with green.
Ummm... Wow, Edward Norton is a great actor and all, but... He doesn't suit the role. His physical appearance is just... how do I explain this?.... Um... not Bruce Banner like. It is a good movie, but he's a little more punnier than I expected Bruce Banner to be.
