Disney meets Hamlet. An animated MASTERPIECE. If The Matrix is my favourite film this is definately a close second.

A good movie that teaches both the values of the sanctity of family, responsibilty, and the circle that emcompasses life. A little violent at times i think for a childrens movies and Disney I thought, but it still is a good movie.

MCT:November 12, 2008It's a hard call on whose voice was cooler: James Earl Jones or Jeremy Irons? Hmm...Great movie. Matthew Broderick annoys some people, but I think his voice sounded right for the guilt-ridden Simba.

MCT:November 9, 2008Not as good as the animated movies that came before it. I prefer movies with people as opposed to movies with animals. Of course the soundtrack saves it somewhat. A good movie for kids

hiya i saw the lion king when i was 3 and iam 14 now and i still watch it and i begian singing then because of it and i now every word of the lion king 1 and 2 I LOVE THE LION KING LOL :)

the lion king is def in the top 5 classic disney films of all time.
how can anybody not love this movie?
i don't think anybody should be ashamed of loving disney movies.
i'm turning 19 in june and i still watch them.
my mom is 45 years old and the lion king is her fav disney movie.
my mom and i watch this one quite often together.
i love it!
