Well theese movies are good and I would rate it over average but I would agree that there are too many of theese films and they slow down in some bits and start getting boring the films are just a bit to long really they try to make them long but the longest films arent always the best. They just take longer to sort the film out.

It was the best movie I ever watched !
I watched it like 100 times , BUT I still like to watch it .
thanks for Peter Jackson for directing this movie , since it made me fill my all my free times!
Legolas was the best character in this movie , but I liked all the characters alot ( Aragorn , Gimli, Gandalf ...)

Who knew getting rid of a ring would be this much trouble?
This has got to be a movie I'm sure most people stuck in a bad marriage can relate to.posted 115 days ago -

peter jackson *sniff* isnt *sniff* directing the hobbit because a lawsuit with the other movie company down't let the movie get done peacefully. link the the letter he wrote to theonering.net: http://www.theonering.net/torwp/2006/11/19/24053-peter-jackson-and-fran-walsh-talk-the-hobbit-2/

Lord of the rings.
One of the best trilogies i have ever seen.
My advice to the people who haven't seen the trilogy is that if want to see it, you should watch the three movies in order or else it won't be as enjoyable as you expect it to be.posted 194 days ago -

When I first heard that Peter Jackson was gonna do the trilogy I was very happy. Here is a guy who loved the books and had the resourses to pull it off. He did and went far beyond what I'm sure many of us LOTR fans had expected. The Return of the king is the best. I am glad they waiting this long to create these movies so that the imagery can come to life and make it look almost real...I am looking forward to The Hobbit in 2 parts. The book has so much in it that to pull it all off in 1 movie might be the longest movie Hollywood has ever had in theaters. He's doing it in 2 parts which is great...

'If all original thought and opinions fail, quote Clerks 2.'
Thats usually the way of the haters, when they can't think of any other way of pulling this cinematic masterpiece down.posted 274 days ago -
The best trilogy I've ever seen. Only once in a great while a great movie comes along this is the only trilogy, that I think will ever come along.
