They're all good, can't say which is my favorite; yes, I'm totally obsessed. The death of Haldir was tragic; as I am overly, perhaps a bit too much, fond of elves, their lands, manners, grace, etc.... And Haldir turned out to be one of my favorite characters, played by the talented actor (Craig Parker) The Battle of Helme's deep; a battle that PJ (Peter Jackson) filmed so well, it sticks in my memories and I can fantasize without having to watch the scene, the part where the elves march in, Haldir hugs Aragorn, and all those poor dead elves. It's not every day a movie has the ability to make me cry, but this one did.
I think the creativity that is presented to us in this movie is wondrous. The special effects, the soundtrack, and the takes were arranged into a harmonious masterpiece.
The middle part in Tolkein's epic saga as told through Peter Jackson's vision. The fellowship struggles to survive hordes of monster orcs while the Ring leads Frodo and Sam to Gollum, the one who took it, and wants his precious back.
It's the best trilogy I have ever seen. Great starring, great BSO so great movie. Although I prefer the first one and the third one.
Not as good as the first or third, but still a very good movie with amazing effects, and since it was shot in New Zealand, its gorgeous.. See all 3

All of the lord of the rings movies are awesome!! all the actors did great!!! Elijah did a wonderful in all these movies. it would be the best thing to one day meet him!
I think the Two Towers stayed true to the book as well as it could without having it be too long. They made the movie enjoyable for people who have and haven't read the books.
The best part of an amazing trilogy.
Peter Jackson set a new standard for films that still to this day none come close.
Harry potter only whish's to be LOTR.
The best movie to come from a book.
One movie to rule them all.
frankly omena i'm not okay with you! Of course the movie isn't completely like the book but no one can transfigure completely such an incredibly dense story and plot into a movie even a 3 hours one! The 6 hours version is better if it's possible but i think Peter Jackson did a great job!!! No movie can respect entirely the book it is taken from! It's impossible to play every little scene, every little event! Tolkien wouldn't be rolling in his grave, that's just mean! You can't compare a movie to a book!
