As she starts her junior year in high school she becomes fascinated by Edward Cullen who holds a dark secret which is only known by his family. Edward falls in love with Bella as well but knows the further they progress in their relationship the more he is putting Bella and those close to her at risk. Edward warns Bella that she should leave him but she refuses to listen and to understand why he is saying this. Bella learns his secret. He is a vampire, however she is not afraid of his blood-thirsty needs and the fact he could kill her at any moment. Bella is afraid of losing him, the love of her life. The thrill begins when a new vampire finds it a challenge to hunt Bella down for her irresistible blood. The game is on and James will not stop until she is killed.

    MY APPRAISAL

I'd like to inform you just how much I HATED the book from the very beginning. I reward Twilight as #1 most overrated novel in the history. Aren't you people stupid enough for worshipping Edward Cullen?? Edward Cullen is a fugly character, described so beautifully. F*ck, even Eddie Murphy looks handsome. Twilight deserved #1 reward in cathegory MOST BORING AND DULL teen novel.

But when it comes to the movie, upgradings occured at some parts.
    1. The movie crossed out the f*cking dull and unimportant contents of the book that are unecessary. It's a great thing to do considering how lame the book was and how it rapidly put readers hopelessly asleep on their desk.

    The casts

Robert Pattinson is a much upgraded version of Edward Cullen described by Stephenie Meyer. He did a fine performance and not to mention how he's certainly gorgeous to look at. Cliche, yes. Miscast? No. He's born to play the part and to be precise, a better version one. He could've read better lines instead of the super bad script.

Cam Gigandeth was unbelievably hot! He's the most exact and certainly the ideal cast for James. His performance was excellent, he showed his charm and fierceness. And if you ask me, he's the most exact cast among the other. (continue soon!)

    Ok,

I am finally aboard the Twilight bus.I DID enjoy this movie please let that be known right from the start. In fairness though please realize that I am basing this review off of the MOVIE itself, which is why I am on this site to begin with.So for those hardcore Twilighters that are bout to start hating on me just keep that in mind.I did like it.Good movie, good love story,a few things I didn't understand but that's okay.I did expect sooo much more though from the way this movie was so hyped up,Where the heck is all the vampire action????This is basically a teen love story other than the fact that you know Edward and the Cullens' are an adopted family of vampires and that they show 'symptoms' of that you wouldn't know this is a vampire movie at all.I guess I was also expecting some fairly high dollar special effects.Again I did not hate this movie I just expected so much more in many ways.

    WOW!

This movie went by fast. But before I did my review I looked up some stuff about the movie and I found out to valuable information. Twilight was a low budget movie, which is why it is such a short movie and why the effects weren't top notch. So with what they had they made the movie how it is, and I thought it was pretty great. Of course the book is better than the movie, but the movie is just something to make you appreciate it all.

The characters all together were great. At first I didn't like the Bella character, I thought that Kristen played her very boring, and then I realized that Bella is a boring character, so Kristen did fine. Everyones view on the characters are different. If you read the books then you put your own voice and personality to them, so it is different for everyone.

Yes, some things were taken out, and some things weren't said, but you still knew what was going on. I went to see with 4 people that hadn't read the book and they loved it. 2 were guys as well. And the one girl went to get the books right after. I think that is how well the movie has an effect on people.

    GO SEE IT.

    LOVE AT FIRST BITE
After all four of the books being published by Stephine Meyer, people may still wonder why teenage girls go nuts for this! We'll after seeing this, you'll see why teenage girls go nuts for this. Its a mix with everything. You've got comedy, action, horror, drama, romance. You've got the whole package!

After reading the first book, i had to see this. I enjoyed the book very much and i needed to see this film. After watching it, i am very happy that the movie kept up with the book. It included all the main details from the book and all the importent parts.

The movie revolves around Bella. She's in every scene. Bella moves to Forks to spend some time with her Dad when her mom goes to Jacksonville for her boyfriends baseball carrer, in Forks Bella makes tons of new friends. She also meets Edward Cullen. Edward Cullen is strange and beautiful to Bella and she learns a dark secret about his family, there a pack of veggie vampires who only hunt amimal blood. Bella makes a daring relationship with Cullen and they learn they can not be apart from one another, until a human sucking tracker vamp named James takes on a challenge to suck Bella's blood. Edward must keep Bella safe for putting her in danger before she dies from the most dangerous creature ever known.

Its an awesome plot if yea think about it. It really is. The book had some more detail but the movie was right on the bat. It was made perfect. Catherine Hardwick made the movie like it should have been. I couldnt imagine Forks or the characters any other way than they were from the book. She made the movie perfect which is why i loved this movie.

Another thing i liked is how Bella narrated trough the movie. She narrated some narrated quotes from the book. Like "The Three Things I Was Absoutly Positive" quote. Thats a huge quote from the book and i love how Bella narrated it in the movie.

All and All, Twilight is a very enjoyable movie. If yea havent seen it, i recommend you do because i didnt think it was a huge letdown from the book.

The only thing that kept me watching was I truly did appreciate the choice of cast! I am sad we didn't get to see any of them develop onscreen! I will watch each and every movie to follow Twilight, just out of curiosity. I will gladly read the books over and over again, I can only pray Stephenie M. will quench my thirst with more of Bella and Edward. I never want to have to read them for the simple purpose of erasing a poorly directed movie or its lack of dialogue again. For all of you who adore the novels, please be warned. The movie strays and lacks that 'SPECIAL SOMETHING' that Stephenie has the ability to play out in my mind each time I read her creation of the remarkable charcters!! Abc, Nbc, Cbs even Lifetime could have pulled off a better adaptation! I am still secretly hoping for a REMAKE in the near future!

My expectations were crushed. I wanted to see Bella and Edwards love blossom onscreen and I was left cheated! I love the novels and the movie was lacking in character developing dialogue as much as it was romance. The movie would have been okay if I had not read the novels. I am now planning reading the entire collection to erase the slaughter this movie did to the characters that came to life and demanded my attention on the pages of the novels! The movie had so much potential. I am hoping for at least 3 hours or more with "New Moon", I will not hold my breath. I was cheated of too many things when I saw the film Saturday and now I know why I held off on seeing it. I didn't get the profession of love after he tells Bella she says he loves her while sleeping, the realization of the lullaby he humms was composed for her and her alone. . . the whole James fight scene where he was supposed to give details about Alice, ughhh! Like I Said it had such huge potential! It failed miserably.
