MCT:July 8, 2008It's a movie, it's not a graphic novel, so I accept it can't be as rich as Moore's masterpiece. I think it's a great movie. The only thing I dislike is the simplification of Adam Sutler: here's there's no Anarchy Vs. Fascism. And well, the fights, but they had to sell the movie to the fans of the Wachowskis somehow.

MCT:July 7, 2008FREEDOM! FOREVER! I agree with everything this movie stands for. You can practically take any dialog and make it a inspiring quote that sends out a great message. Besides this, V for Vendetta is very well executed with powerful directing and music, excellent performances and a ending to remember (just like the Fifth of November).

Although I have not read the comic, V for Vendetta is a really interesting and captivating movie.
Hugo Weaving is truly amazing as he performs the role of the masked vigilante 'V'.

MCT:July 7, 2008I adored this film upon release. but since then, i have read the graphic novel and it makes the movie look not so great. the source material is far superior and stands as the second best work of fiction I have read. the movie is still good because dumbed down alan moore is still smarter than the majority of movies.

Based on a gritty comic book series, V is one of the oddest movies of 2006 and one of the best adventure horror flicks that year. In a future where a fascist group rules Earth, the seat of power is London, where a strange creature with a Guy Fawks mask threatens the regime.

This movie is definately my favorite movie now! Hugo Weaving did a great job being V and the scene where he's talking to Evey using all those V words was awesome! Hugo Weaving ROCKS! THIS MOVIE RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
