Captain: I don't want to survive, I want to live!

Pixar has done it yet again. They've thrown in a love story with messages about looking after the world, and it didn't disappoint. It was a risk being silent for most of the film, but it definitely paid off. Overall - brilliant!

    Aaaaah I loooove WALL-E
This one is going to in me dvd-collection for sure.
WALL-E is a super cute, super funny little robot, who you'll love garanteed. HE's like a mix between E.T and Johhny 5 (for you who remember him).

The film WALL-E proves that Pixar has more genius and creativity flowing through its team than anything we will ever imagine. They have reached new levels in the realism of animation, and I daresay that other studios will be hard-pressed to ever match it. This film has visual depth never before seen, as well as story depth that rivals anything with human actors. I still can't say whether this film is the best Pixar yet, but I do know that WALL-E (and the little M-O) are my favorite of their characters. And the fact that Pixar made a theater full of people root for a tiny little cockroach says a great deal about their brilliance. I can't wait to see how they top themselves!

    WALL-E (2008)
    directed by Andrew Stanton
featuring the voices of Ben Burtt, Elissa Knight, Jeff Garlin

    Quick review

Wall-E is predictable but its one of the most daring film of the year. Its charming, funny and touching at the same time. It carries a very valuable message and tells one of the sweetest love story to be seen on screen in recent years. Wall-E might be a robot but he's definately the most human character of the film, which should make people think. An amazing film, which might be more for adults than for kids.

How could they think of such a great way to convey a robot's emotions? Didn't think a pair of binoculars has this kind of use..
Overall, just another great movie. Actually, I can't really understand their language, but understand better through their hand movements..

The start of this movie felt really long for me, but I do know one thing that annoyed me - was a child that kept crying, though it sounded like laughing -but it was continuous and weird.... However back to the movie. It was great to finally see Wall-E I thought it was good, but maybe not as good as the previous Pixar films like Ratatouille or Finding Nemo, Cars and such. BUT I will give them great credit for their work in making this movie because Wall-E doesn't really speak, so it's up to music and facial expressions and actions to really intrigue or move us.

There was a scene that got me a little sad near the end and aswell as some pretty funny or cute scenes. I loved the Captain in the movie and the cleaning robot - so funny. Overall it was quite a good movie, but wouldn't be one I could watch tons of times like I could with Ratatouille. It's just not that kind of cartoon. I'd watch it again though ofcourse ;)

personally i enjoyed it again its another film thats on two levels the boy meets girl or in this case robot meets robot and the underlying adult message of human waste and consumerism gone bad- dont think its quite as bad as the picture painted- as usual pixar manages to inthrall us with a great mix of voice overs and graphics mixed in with a reasonable storyline i toook my 11 and 13 yr old neices who got as much pleasure out of it as me so what more could you ask for

An interesting film from Pixar. It has all of the usual brilliance from a Pixar film, but is a different film from previous ones. Instead of the in-your-face rollercoaster ride, this film is thoughtful and poignant with little dialogue in the first 30 mins. But Wall-E is a lovable and cute character who falls in love with another robot, Eve. Their love is innocent and pure and although there is a strong ecological message throughout the film, the love story shines through.

dissapointing, was overhyped. graphics aren't much better then any other pixar movie, and the story is kind of boring, little kids would find it hard to understand this cause even i was wondring what the heck some things were supposed to be., just goes to fast while on the spaceship and its like your expected to know whats what

My only regret is that, in order to be as child friendly as possible, they ignored certain dramatic opportunities which compromised the science fiction element of the story. Pandering to the audience maybe a good business decision but it is not conducive to quality storytelling.

    An Adventure Beyond the Ordinar-E

    Directed by : Andrew Stanton
    Genres: Action & Adventure, Animation
    Released: June 25, 2008

    EXTRAORDINAR-E MASTERPIEC-E!

After Finding Nemo, there's no animated feature that could encore my childlike credulity except Wall-E.Wall-E is a astonishing oxygen supply for our amigdala,a dazzling charmer, and a storytelling champion.Once again done so beautifully by Pixar Studios,Wall-E is a big triumphant for Disney, and a feature which almost impossible to top,an audio-visual masterpiece.

The story of Wall-E is never lose a second of charm in it's ticking second,he squeaked,he winked,he bleeped, and he have a big heart.Wall-E's relationship with Eve is simply irresistable, and remember, what so wrong about that? What they preserve is simply exquisitely turned beauty and beast relationship into what so called love, unconditional and without any bullshits, and isn't that so cliché?In this case,NO.

Pixar has accomplished a termendous victory with this one whatsoever.Pixar created what we call a "MASTERPIECE",an astounding visual grace, and a breakthrough in sound engineering. And like Charlie Chaplin's movies,Wall-E is a wordless masterpiece,Pixar has successfully captured every emotion perfectly with grandeur score and an beyond-words CGI,making Wall-E is a classic without any brilliant script involved. The story of Wall-E also a symbolize the gluttonies, which are the humans, conflicted the satire, that maybe in the future, robots might have a bigger heart than human themselves,as they can see in truly magical creature called,Wall-E,which so far is the most adorable made by Disney.

Wall-E is an engaging and enchanting story of the loner,a tragic masterpiece that will stay forever, which also involves a great human's vision, not only a animation razzle-dazzle nor brainless story.Wall-E is one of the greatest Pixar ever, and has received a countless praise from me,an animation that should be worshipped through time, side by side with Disney's classic, such as Mickey Mouse,Lion King, and Finding Nemo.Wall-E is a never-ending adventure full of wonder, wonderous visual amazement,a wonder charm by it?s mute cast, and unbearable enchantment of a outer-space experience. No doubt,Wall-E is a animation classic period.

    Eve: Name?
    WALL.E: WALL-E.

    WALL.E: Eva?

I think it's fairly obvious that you're on to a good thing when within ten minutes of the film starting you have already fallen in love with the main character. Although it has been said before, i'm going to repeat what the vast majority think about this film and say it is Pixar's best film to date. Everything about it is just beautiful and breathtaking.
The animation does not come in a higher quality than that produced in ever Pixar film. This however, tops the lot with some truly amazing sequences and were just stunning in every way.
WALL.E as a character is highly lovable and adorable. You fall for him the minute you see him. It's amazing how they managed to give a box of metal so much character and expression. Truly amazing if you ask me.
Another fantastic aspect of the film is the soundtrack, over shadowed slightly by the quality on screen but it really was a brilliant choice of tracks. Peter Gabriel's input I just can't get out of my head. I loved the music used from 2001: A Space Odyssey. An excellent choice for the genre and direction of the film.
It's also the case that the film is not solely about a cute robot who falls in love, but it also has some excellent political messages to send out as well. I don't think that Pixar could have made a broader statement about the treatment we give our planet if they tried and I applaud them for having the guts to actually say something relevant in a kids movie.
Everything about this film is beautiful. It blew me away in everything that it achieved. All I wonder now is will Pixar be able to top it. Of course that is what I said about Ratatouille and then they made this. So although they have not convinced everyone that they will be able to make another masterpiece in animation like this, I have every faith that the will turn out something just as excellent.

Pixar hit an all time high with this flick. It was like a romantic silent film comedy. And you couldn't help but fall in love with the characters. The graphics were amazing and the story line was literally out of this world. Overall I thought this was a great movie for kids and adults.

Boring as sin. Who cares about CG if the story is just a repeat of everything else they've ever made. Disney is a joke.

I have seen a bunch of films and I think this is one of the best movies ever made. I am so in love with WALL-E. The first 30 minutes are some of the best ever put on screen. The animation is beautiful, but the love story is truly timeless.

Brilliant plot a cautionary tale about the ultimate effect of unbridled comsumerism. Addresses the complex issues of conservation and the ecology with out becoming preachy(M Night Shahmaylan take note) sorry for the spolier but in the end our hero does get the girl!!!! Great movie.
