Keanu Reeves Leaves Door Open On Most Excellent ‘Bill & Ted 3’

They’ve been to Heaven, Hell, and the far reaches of time, but according to Keanu Reeves himself, Bill S. Preston Esq. and Ted “Theodore” Logan may be making their most non-heinous journey yet - back to multiplexes. And no, this is not an April Fool’s joke.

Party on dudes! (air-guitar riff)

“I hear they’re doing a remake,” Reeves said of the movie that launched him to fame. “[Alex Winter and I spoke] on the phone the other day [about it]. We’re great friends.” So step into the phone booth, Mr. Reeves, would you ever be up for another sequel?

“The most serious we ever got was a few years ago,” he confessed of a hitherto unknown third film. “I had once mentioned about doing it when we were 40. Now maybe the only shot we have is to do it when we’re 50.”

And where will the Wyld Stallions be then? The same place they are now, laughed Reeves, “in each and every one of us.”

Another Bill and Ted’s! To paraphrase another character from the film: Everything would be different, but the same… things would be more moderner than before…bigger, and yet smaller…San Dimas High School football rules!!!!

How much would you love to see “Bill & Ted III”? Any ideas for where the dynamic duo could go next? Who would you like to see in the film? Joan, Noah’s wife? The salad dressing dude? Sound off below.

I would like to see Bill and Ted working at the Circle K. One day, the infamous telephone booth returns with visitors trying to find The Wyld Stallions. One boy and one girl, the two kids tell them that they are sent by their parents to TEACH the Wyld Stallions how to play their instruments. Now they have to travel through time to visit great musicians though time so they can help them on their mission. Special guest would include ACDC, Aerosmith, Rush, KISS, Van Halen and many more.
In the end, Bill and Ted asked to thank their parents when they return home and as they are about to leave, they realize that the two kids... are really their own kids sent though time to help their dads on becoming this HUGE rock band named... The Wyld Stallions.

As much as I enjoyed the first two films, the age of both Reeves and Winter may not work as well for a 3rd installment. Still, if they think they can pull it off, I say “Party on Dudes!”
