At the conclusion of the film’s opening weekend, over 5,300 IMDb users have rated Pixar’s WALL-E, resulting in a 9.3 average user rating. This currently places the film at #9 on IMDb’s top 250 movies of all time, behind only Godfather 1 and 2, Shawshank Redemption, Good Bad and Ugly, Pulp Fiction, Schindlers List, One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, and Empire Strikes Back. But with only 5,000 votes, the movie will likely drop on the list as more votes are counted. But the question is how far? The high placement is worth noting because it rarely happens. And when it does, the movie usually lands a fairly high placement.

    People vote, those votes are counted, there is an average made, and Wall-E got the 9th best average on the site IMDB, thats how it gets on a list of best movies of all-time. Its quite simple actually. By the way, an animated picture can have as much, if not more, qualities than any other movies. Its also quite stupid to vote for a film you havent seen.

    How in the name of Jennifer Connelly did a film that came out last week make it to number 9 in an all time best films list?!And the fact its animated pisses me off,no offence,Pixar are a great company and there are some great animated films around but fuck me with a stick, Fight Club, Goodfellas, Silence of the Lambs etc beaten by some robotic prick?Thats like wooden dildo Hayden Christiansen winning an oscar.
